Thomas has constructed an indoor practice facility at Brooks Field that benefits both the UNC-W baseball and softball programs. The front section of the facility features an entry lobby, locker rooms for umpires and professional players, athletic training room and mechanical and electrical rooms.
The 13,000-square foot practice area has stationary netting completely surrounding the area and tented overhead. The area also has six batting cages that can be raised or lowered individually according to needs.
