Thomas completed the sitework & new construction of a 13,000 SF educational facility on the campus of UNC-W used to provide undergraduate learning in the study of cinema, production, and film-making. Special features include sound-rated partitions and door assemblies, fire rated partitions, ADA lift and sloped interior flooring. Construction also included concrete footings, concrete slab on grade, pre-engineered metal building frame, exterior metal siding and standing seam roofing, aluminum storefronts, hollow metal windows, wood and metal doors, sectional overhead door, interior metal stud partitions, interior finishes, plumbing, lighting, electrical and mechanical components. Site work included excavation, extension and installation of utilities, earthwork, vehicular and pedestrian pavements, drainage, grading, storm water control, irrigation and landscaping.
