Thomas Construction Group completed the construction of a new 22,800-square-foot gymnasium and auditorium addition at Waccamaw School in Ash, NC. The new “gymnatorium” adjoins the existing facility—renovated to provide updated administrative offices and classroom space—creating a more functional and engaging environment for students and staff.
The addition features regulation-size athletic flooring, bleacher seating, concessions, and a performing arts stage designed for both athletic and community events. Renovations to the adjoining 13,000-square-foot building included upgraded interiors, systems improvements, and reconfigured spaces to enhance efficiency and support the school’s growing needs.
