In addition to New Hanover County’s new government center and demolition of the previous facility strip center, Thomas constructed a new 7,500 SF Board of Elections building.

The Board of Elections building is designed with a secure and controlled environment tailored to the needs of elections operations. The new stand-alone building features a large overhang canopy with dedicated parking spots for curbside voting. The interior includes a lobby, conference room, hoteling space, offices, workstations, a mail-in ballot room, secure storage space, and a one-stop voting area.
