Pennybyrn at Maryfield, a premier senior living community in High Point, has successfully completed a significant expansion and renovation, further enhancing its ability to provide exceptional care and living options for its residents. This multi-phase project introduced new facilities and modernized existing ones, creating a comprehensive and enriched environment for seniors.

The project included the addition of a new 23,780 square foot, single-story rehabilitation facility, offering 25 short-term stay units with an I-2 occupancy classification, designed to provide high-quality care in a comfortable setting.

A new 78,282 square foot independent living building was also constructed, featuring both three- and four-story sections that house 42 contemporary units. This free-standing building, with an R-2 occupancy classification, offers residents modern amenities and approximately 60 parking spaces to support an active, independent lifestyle.

The renovations encompassed 77,230 square feet of the existing Independent Living Facility, with an additional 4,600 square feet added, creating updated and enhanced spaces for residents. Furthermore, the 122,000 square foot Healthcare Households Facility, serving assisted living and skilled nursing patients, was fully renovated to ensure the highest quality of care and comfort.

This completed project has transformed the Pennybyrn at Maryfield campus, continuing its tradition of providing a holistic and supportive environment for senior adults.
