Thomas Construction Group has been contracted to complete major renovations to the Columbus County Courthouse, located in Whiteville, N.C. The 21,000 SF historic municipal facility, originally erected in 1915, is currently unused. The plans for renovations include (but are not limited to) moving the Clerk of Court’s office into the historic building and converting the upstairs floor into a large courtroom. Additional work includes replacing floors and other interior upgrades. The project is due to begin in early 2023.
