Thomas Construction Group partnered with Novant Health to deliver the SECU Family House at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina—a welcoming, 17,000-square-foot facility designed to provide a comforting home-away-from-home for patients’ families.
The two-story building features a variety of spaces that promote connection, rest, and support. The first floor includes a family kitchen, communal dining area, shared living room, children’s playroom and playground, vending and coffee bar, pantry, administrative offices, and eight guest rooms. The second floor offers 16 additional guest rooms, a comfortable seating area, and dedicated support spaces for visiting families.
Built with care and purpose, the SECU Family House reflects Thomas Construction Group’s commitment to creating spaces that strengthen community and bring comfort to those navigating challenging times.
