Thomas Construction Group partnered with MedNorth Health Center to deliver a transformative 35,132 SF, two-story medical building in the heart of historic downtown Wilmington. Designed by Becker Morgan Group, this design-build project reflects seamless collaboration between design and construction, ensuring efficiency while meeting the center’s expanding healthcare needs.
The new facility will include exam and operatory rooms, offices, and flexible clinical spaces, all designed to enhance the patient experience and support MedNorth’s mission of “Building a Healthier Community.” As a non-profit provider, MedNorth offers a full range of primary and preventative care services, focusing on patients living at or below the federal poverty level.
Constructed with architectural tilt-up concrete panels, the building combines durability, energy efficiency, and a modern aesthetic that complements its urban surroundings. Once complete, the expansion will significantly increase MedNorth’s capacity to provide essential healthcare and strengthen its role as a vital resource for accessible, compassionate care in the Wilmington community.
