Wilmington Treatment Center Partial Hospitalization Program Center

Healthcare

Acadia Healthcare, one of the nation’s largest behavioral healthcare providers operating in 39 states, selected Thomas Construction Group to serve as Construction Manager for Wilmington Treatment Center’s new Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Center and three patient apartment dormitories. The PHP provides the most intensive level of non-residential care for individuals facing substance abuse, mental health, and behavioral health disorders.

The new patient dormitory apartments offer residents a safe and supportive environment, allowing them to step away from daily challenges and focus solely on healing and recovery. Designed by Johnson Johnson Crabtree Architects of Nashville, TN, the project includes a 39,000 SF main program building, a 36,000 SF two-story housing structure, and a 27,000 SF housing facility.

In addition, Thomas expanded the Wilmington Treatment Center’s Troy Drive location with the addition of 48 detox beds at the center’s substance abuse hospital facility, further enhancing its capacity to serve patients in need.
