Thomas Construction Group expanded Strategic Behavioral Health’s Las Vegas hospital through a series of major additions that enhanced capacity and care capabilities. The first phase included three new buildings: a PRTF wing, chemical dependency wing, and adult wing (72 beds); a west addition with two geriatric wings (48 beds); and a southwest addition converting the existing pool area into new indoor facility offices. Completed in 2014, these improvements brought the facility to 162 total beds.
In 2016, Thomas returned to construct two additional geriatric units connected by a shared dining facility, adding 40 more beds. As Strategic Behavioral Health’s trusted construction partner for all new facilities and expansions, Thomas continues to support the Memphis-based organization in its mission to provide comprehensive behavioral healthcare. Services include group counseling, family and recreational therapy, education services, vocational training, and 24/7 treatment for substance abuse, depression, grief, and other mental health conditions, as well as specialized geriatric behavioral health programs delivering targeted care and support for seniors and their families.
