Thomas has completed over 200,000 SF, including almost 500 bedrooms spaces, of high-end student living apartments for CA Ventures of Chicago. Finishing on-time and on-budget allowed for students and other patrons to move into their homes prior to the start of the Fall school year.

Uncommon Wilmington is made up of a 4-story student living / retail community, a 3-story student living community, and thirty 2-story student living townhomes. Activity and amenity areas include 24/7 on-site emergency services, bike storage, a private work room, computer lab, fitness facility, courtyard pool, outdoor grilling patio, outdoor theater, coffee bar, arcade, hydration station, and dog park.

The new infrastructure and development significantly improved this area of Wilmington that was previously occupied by an occasionally solicited, one-story, 20-year old retail center. The new complex covers nearly 10 acres of land with surface parking of 458 spaces.
