Behavioral Health Hospital with Acadia Healthcare and ECU Health

Thomas Construction Group, LLC (Thomas), is proud to announce that we are ready to start construction on a 102,400-square-foot, two-story facility for Acadia Healthcare and ECU Health in Greenville, North Carolina’s medical district. This project is slated to open in the Spring of 2025.

The 144-bed behavioral health hospital will offer inpatient and outpatient care to seniors, adults, and children. Twenty-four inpatient beds will be reserved specifically for children and adolescents with behavioral health needs. The facility will also serve as a teaching hospital for students and residents of East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine. The joint venture between Acadia Healthcare and ECU Health aims to enhance the delivery of mental and behavioral health services and improve access to health care for the communities in eastern North Carolina.

Acadia Healthcare and ECU Health are the owners and operators, and the Architect of Record is Stengel Hill Architecture. The project is located on MacGregor Downs Road in Greenville, North Carolina.
