Thomas Construction Group, LLC (Thomas) is proud to announce we were awarded the contract and selected as General Contractor for the new Columbus County Municipal Airport terminal building.
Thomas will complete the construction of a new two-story 6,066 SF wood-framed building, nearly 3,900 SF larger than the current one-story building. Among the key upgrades are a larger lobby, expanded bathroom facilities, increased office space, and the addition of a conference room on the second floor. These upgrades will lead to enhanced convenience and functionality for both travelers and stakeholders and will support the future economic development of Columbus County.
Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2024. The Wilson Group is serving as the project’s Architect-of-Record.
