Wilmington-based Thomas Construction Group has added a new employee to their Operations team. Ferdinand Gerstenberg II has joined Thomas as a Project Superintendent. This addition is in keeping with the firm’s continued growth in the Wilmington, NC and Charleston, SC markets.
FERDINAND GERSTENBERG comes to the team after having previously worked as a Project Superintendent for a Michigan-based contractor. In his role with Thomas, Ferdinand will work closely with Project Executives, Project Managers and other team members to ensure the success of Thomas projects. Currently, he is supervising the start-up of a new project in Northchase Industrial Park known as 3200 Corporate Drive. An addition to the Coverbind building, Rulmeca Corporation is expanding it’s Wilmington headquarters which assembles motorized pulleys. Ferdinand graduated from Macomb Community College in 2015 receiving a degree in Construction Science. This addition is in keeping with the firm’s continued growth in the Southeast.
