Thomas Construction Group completed the interior upfits for TowneBank Mortgage and Towne Insurance on the ground floor of the new TowneBank office building in Renaissance Park, Wilmington, NC. Preconstruction involved multiple rounds of pricing at the 50% DD and 75% CD stages to maintain alignment with the Owner’s Control Budget, while value engineering solutions and creative ideas supported efficiency and cost savings.
The project was strategically phased—beginning with accelerated sitework to lock in the schedule, followed by vertical construction of the shell and then tenant upfits on both the first and second floors. In partnership with Cape Fear Commercial and LS3P, Thomas delivered a landmark office building and tailored tenant spaces that reflect TowneBank’s commitment to its clients and community.
