Thomas Construction Group is pleased to announce the promotion of two of its dedicated and tenured employees to senior positions: DERRICK NOBLES is being promoted to Senior Estimator, and MICHAEL (MIKE) BRISSON is being promoted to Senior Project Manager.
DERRICK, a graduate of East Carolina University, has diligently been part of the Thomas team for over four years and has been the lead estimator on many of the company’s largest and most challenging preconstruction projects. His analytical abilities in estimating have been instrumental in the success of these projects. In his new role as Senior Estimator, Derrick will efficiently oversee projects from initiation to completion, working in conjunction with Matt Sellers, Assistant Estimator, and with support and guidance from Preconstruction Director Mike Pritt.
MIKE, an Appalachian State University graduate, has been a steadfast presence within Thomas for over six years. His promotion from Project Manager to Senior Project Manager reflects his dedication and proven abilities in managing substantial projects, particularly in the Public Sector. Most noticeably, Mike was the project manager for New Hanover County’s new Government Center and is currently managing the next phases of that exciting redevelopment project overseeing the ongoing renovations and improvements at the Columbus County Courthouse.
Thomas is proud to reward and promote our hardworking teammates from within and is humbled that talents such as Mike and Derrick continue to contribute to the growth of our team and culture. We at Thomas expect great things for Mike and Derrick moving forward and are excited to see how their projects help shape our community.
