Wilmington-based Thomas Construction Group is pleased to announce that Annette Devore has joined the Thomas Construction Group Preconstruction Department as its newest Estimator.
Annette joins Thomas with over 20 years of estimating and project management experience and prides herself on her ability to form effective and lasting relationships with clients, design teams, trade partners, & suppliers alike. Her attention to detail and varied project experience lend themselves to her unique perspective and approach to project bids. On a daily basis, Annette will be responsible for evaluating project specifications and drawings and ensuring that Thomas is able to build the most accurate and successful bid.
Annette has many interests outside of work, including a passion for clean wine (she works as a consultant for Scout & Cellar®, in her spare time) and boating with her family. Originally a Texas native, Annette has been in NC for over 10 years and loves the coastal life Wilmington offers her. When asked what made her most excited to come to Thomas, Annette noted that she “immediately felt valued” when she came to the team, and she aligns herself closely with the Thomas values. Not to mention that she is Thomas’ first-ever, female estimator and she is thrilled to be “paving the way for more women in construction careers”.
