Wilmington-based Thomas Construction Group is pleased to announce our most recent employee to have joined the team:
Nick Slobozien joins Thomas Construction Group as our newest Project Manager. Initially, Nick is concentrating on one of our behavioral healthcare program clients and is currently managing a new build of an 80,000 Sq. Ft. behavioral health hospital in Indiana.
Prior to completing his Health Care Construction (HCC) Certification, Nick received both his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Architectural Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He joins Thomas with 5+ years of construction management experience. Past projects include North Cornwall Commons and Berks Community Health Center, both in central Pennsylvania. “We are particularly thrilled to have someone with Nick’s healthcare project management experience join the team,” says Vince Tryer, VP / Project Executive.
Nick moves here from Lancaster, Pennsylvania with his wife, Ambria, and their dog & cat. When asked how they settled on Wilmington, Nick said he instantly felt “at home” in the city and he is excited to experience more mild winters in the coastal Southeast. In his spare time, Nick enjoys working out, hiking and is excited to get back to traveling, with a trip to Greece planned for next spring.
