Jason Lovelace is an experienced SPM with a demonstrated history in the construction industry. He brings with him a strong program and project management background of operational excellence and we are glad to have him on board. Jason’s skills include negotiation, budgeting, construction, value engineering, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
As a Construction Management graduate from the University of Florida, Jason is an emerging young leader in construction. In the past 12 years, he has developed from a youthful project engineering working a high rise in downtown Raleigh to working on apartments and higher education facilities as a PM, and most recently completing large university campus projects as an SPM. For Thomas, Jason is currently working on a project on the campus of UNC-Wilmington, as well as becoming part of the preconstruction team and eventually the project management team, for the upcoming New Hanover County Government Center Re-development project. The County’s re-development project will include a newly-designed facility for county offices, including an expanded Emergency Operations and 911 Center, as well as mixed-use and green spaces. Currently the building and site design is being finalized, while the preconstruction and permitting if taking place. The tentative groundbreaking for the project is January 2021.
