Wilmington-based Thomas Construction Group has added a new employee to their Operations team. Lyle Hagwood has joined Thomas as a Project Manager.
LYLE HAGWOOD comes to the team after gaining 10+ years of commercial construction experience in North Carolina. After graduating from East Carolina’s Construction Management program, he gained experienced as a Project Engineer before going on to manage projects ranging in value from $12 – $58 million dollars. His previous work consists of historic renovations, Medical Office Buildings, and military complexes.
In his role with Thomas, Lyle will be co-managing the renovation and expansion of Pennybyrn at Maryfield, a retirement community in High Point, NC. The Pennybyrn project includes a renovation of a 92,000 square foot, 3.5 story senior living facility that includes an activity center and 240 apartments and new construction of an additional 42 units along with parking. Work is expected to begin in the Fall of 2020.
