Wilmington-based Thomas Construction Group is pleased to announce that DAN WELDON has joined the team as the new Controller.
Thomas Construction Group is one of the premier general contractors in Wilmington, NC and employs a variety of construction professionals throughout the Carolina’s. Dan is responsible for all company-wide Accounting duties including, but not limited to: internal financial review, employee payroll, tax returns, insurance, and a wide array of other responsibilities.
Dan comes to Thomas Construction Group with over 30 years of experience in Accounting and Financial Advising. Since the early 2000s, he’s used his financial background to help grow residential contracting companies in a competitive market. Additionally, Dan is a member of Thomas’ Leadership Team. This group is responsible for operational success, instilling company culture in their relationships, and strengthening client relationships and management.

Dan is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA and NCACPA. He resides in Wilmington with his wife, Missy Kress, and they have three children: Sam, Patrick and Sara.
