Atlantic Packaging has selected Thomas Construction Group (Thomas) to build a new, modern addition to its existing headquarters on N. 23rd Street in Wilmington. The company has decided to increase its corporate administrative offices to make room for its current employees while planning for future growth. The expanded offices will house accounting and finance executives among other personnel.
Construction plans include the demolition of a portion of the existing building and adding a modern two-story (approx. 16,000 SF) expansion. Another 6,500 SF of their current space will be renovated in the process. “This is a marquee project for Wilmington. Atlantic Packaging is an industry leader and an important asset to our community. Thomas is proud to have been chosen as their construction partner,” says Jim Hundley, Director of Preconstruction. Work is slated to begin early March.
