Many are anxiously waiting for the opening of the newly renovated Nir Family YMCA on Market Street in Wilmington. There are several pre-grand opening events planned for YMCA staff members and key stakeholders on Thursday, Dec. 27th. The general public is invited to attend the Grand Opening event on Sunday, December 30th between 1 – 5 pm. Planned activities include a ribbon cutting ceremony, self-guided tours, membership registration, food trucks and refreshments, and program demos.
