Construction continues on a new aquatic and dining facility on one of North Carolina’s southernmost barrier islands that is only accessible by boat. As is a premier destination for vacations and events, Bald Head Island Club selected Thomas Construction Group to serve as Construction Manager and General Contractor for the renovation and addition to its existing facilities.
When complete, the new aquatic facility will include new pools and decks designed to offer members and guests a more diverse experience, complete with spaces for activities such as lap swimming, aerobics, and swim lessons. Taking cues from the Caribbean, the new open-air Ocean View restaurant will add to the resort-like feeling, comfortably seating 200 people and will serve island and locally-inspired food.
Since construction occurs during the summer months, work continues while the existing pool and temporary dining remains open to the Club’s membership.
